EMF Return with New Single “Reach For The Lasers” and Exciting Co-Headline Tour with Jesus Jones

EMF, the iconic band behind the chart-topping hit “Unbelievable,” is back with a brand-new single, Reach For The Lasers, set for release on October 11th. This electrifying track is just one part of an exciting new chapter for the band as they prepare for their highly anticipated co-headline tour with fellow 90s alternative heroes Jesus Jones. Special guests Echobelly will also join the lineup for select dates.

A Celebration of the Dance Floor

Describing Reach For The Lasers as a tribute to the euphoric moments spent on the dance floor, EMF is ready to reignite that energy. “James has always been our representative of electronic dance music within EMF, and when combined with Ian’s indie rock guitars, it’s what defines our sound,” says the band. “This song is our homage to those unforgettable moments when we’re surrounded by elated people, hands in the air, caught in the magic that great DJs create.”

Fans are in for a special treat, as Reach For The Lasers comes with three exclusive remixes, including:

  • Don Letts and Gaudi’s reggae remix of “Unbelievable” – a fresh twist on the classic hit that put EMF on the map.
  • JA Breaks Mix – a 4 a.m. club anthem, bringing back the feel of the early ’90s.
  • Dench’s Hardcore Techno Remix – Ian Dench’s son gives the track a gritty, modern edge perfect for any underground rave.

 

New Album The Beauty and The Chaos

Reach For The Lasers is the second single from EMF’s latest album, The Beauty and The Chaos, where the band dives into a mix of political and social themes alongside their signature feel-good sound. Produced by Ralph Jezzard, the mastermind behind their earlier albums and the smash hit Unbelievable, the new record is a journey through techno punk, northern soul, swampy electronica, and more.

With tracks like Hello People (featuring Stephen Fry) and the closing psychedelic anthem Do It Again, this album sees EMF delivering some of their most diverse and energetic music yet.

Co-Headline Tour with Jesus Jones

EMF’s co-headline tour with Jesus Jones is set to be one of the most exciting live events of 2024.
