Punk legends The Boys return with a brand new double A-side ahead of their forthcoming studio album.
On 7 August 2026, The Boys make their long-awaited return with a limited-edition double A-sided vinyl single on Damaged Goods Records. Featuring the razor-sharp Never Mind The Botox and the equally uncompromising Damn Those Eyes, both tracks were recorded at Planet Of Noise Studio in Limmared, Sweden, and offer the first taste of the band’s sixth official studio album, scheduled for release in December 2026.
Few bands can claim a place at the very birth of British punk quite like The Boys. Standing shoulder to shoulder with the Sex Pistols, The Clash and The Damned during the first wave of the UK punk explosion, they became the first British punk band to secure a major album deal in January 1977. While their contemporaries often embraced confrontation, The Boys carved out a distinctive identity through infectious songwriting, irresistible hooks and the unmistakable vocal harmonies of Matt Dangerfield and Casino Steel.
Often described as “The Beatles of Punk,” their catalogue balanced raw energy with melodic brilliance, although comparisons to the Ramones are equally fitting—fast, witty, rebellious and packed with timeless anthems that have only grown in stature over the decades.
The new single reunites original founders and songwriting partners Matt Dangerfield and Casino Steel with long-time members Chips Kiesbye and Kent Norberg of Swedish rock favourites Sator, alongside Martin H-Son (formerly of Backstreet Girls). Adding another familiar face from the punk world, acclaimed filmmaker and former Crybabys bassist Danny Garcia appears as a guest on Never Mind The Botox, while also directing the promotional videos for both tracks.
Nearly five decades after helping define British punk, The Boys prove that their songwriting, humour and unmistakable spirit remain every bit as vital today.
